Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

• Educational Qualification:
• Must have passed 10+2 (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English
• Minimum Marks:General category: around 50% in PCB subjects
• SC/ST/OBC: around 40% (as per norms)
• Entrance Exam (Mandatory):
• Must qualify NEET-UG with required percentile (50th for General, 40th for reserved categories)
• Age Limit:
• Minimum 17 years at the time of admission or before 31st December of admission year
• Nationality / Domicile:Must be an Indian citizen
• For state quota seats, Haryana domicile may be required
• Other Requirement:
• Must meet all eligibility conditions as per NEET information bulletin & AYUSH/NCISM regulations

The BAMS is the one and the only course in India to become an ayurvedic practitioner. The BAMS course covers investigation of current life structures, physiology, social and preventive pharmaceuticals, toxicology, herbal science, ENT, etc. BAMS is the course with practical training which is five years long. The students interact with the patient and get the practical knowledge of diseases as the college and the hospital are generally nearby to each other or may resides in the same facilities with different areas specified. BAMS course also contains a yearlong i.e. 12-month-long internship, in which an intern has to come across various specialties. Besides standard clinical care, one also gets a methodical experience of ward management, staff management, and thorough analysis skills.

• Admission is strictly based on NEET-UG score
• Without NEET qualification, admission is not possible

• AACCC counselling (All India Quota – 15%)
• Haryana AYUSH counselling (State Quota – 85%) conducted by Shri Krishna AYUSH University (SKAU)

• Fill registration form on official counselling portal
• Pay counselling/registration fees online

1. Choice Filling & Locking

• Select preferred colleges (including SKGAC Kurukshetra)
• Lock choices within given deadline

1. Seat Allotment Result

• Seats allotted based on NEET rank, category, and preferences
• Merit list published online

1. Document Verification

• Visit college physically
• Submit original documents for verification

1. Reporting & Admission Confirmation

• Pay admission fee
• Confirm seat and join the course
