Yoga Teacher Course (YCT)

The Yoga Teachers’ Training Programme (YTTP) at Kanchankaya Naturopathy, Yoga & Acupressure Center is crafted to nurture aspiring yoga practitioners into confident and competent teachers. The programme combines traditional yoga philosophy, practical asana (posture) training, pranayama (breath control), meditation, anatomy basics, and pedagogical methods to equip learners with a holistic understanding of yoga teaching. Through structured classroom sessions and guided practice, students deepen their own practice while learning how to instruct diverse groups in safe, effective, and traditional yogic techniques. Graduates are prepared for roles as yoga instructors in wellness centres, yoga studios, corporate wellness programmes, community centres, and educational institutions. The course emphasizes ethical teaching practices, alignment principles, and holistic health approaches that align with global yoga education standards.

1. Must have completed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent.
2. Good physical and mental fitness to participate in yoga practice.
3. Minimum age 18 years (typical for teacher training programmes).
4. Willingness to commit to both theoretical and practical sessions.
