Visakha Eye Hospital was established in 1993 by Dr. P Vasudev and Dr. C V Gopala Raju with a vision of establishing an Eye Hospital with state-of-the-art equipment within reach of an ordinary person. The Hospital serves the North Coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh predominantly, adjoining Telangana, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. Visakha Eye Hospital was registered as Visakha Netra Jyothi Pvt Ltd and incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956. For the past 28 years, Hospital has conducted around 50,000 Eye Surgeries.
