Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women (VIPW), Vijayawada

Vijaya Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences for Women (VIPW) is established in the year 2009 by S.R.K. FOUNDATION under the Chairmanship of Sri Boyapati Srinivasa Appa Rao. The institution is permitted by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, AICTE New Delhi, approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi and it is affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. The college offers B. Pharmacy (100 seats), Pharm D (30 seats) and M. Pharmacy in Pharmacology (15 seats), Pharmaceutics (15 seats), Pharmaceutical Analysis (15 seats) and Pharm D (PB 10 seats).

Facilities:

Class Rooms: The institution has spacious class rooms with adequate ventilation and LCD projectors, display boards for notices, to make teaching learning process effective.

Seminar Hall:  An air-conditioned seminar hall with a capacity of 200 members with LCD projectors, display screen, lectern, and CCTV is utilized for workshops/conferences and seminars.

Laboratories:  The institution has well equipped laboratories with highly advanced and sophisticated instruments like HPLC, UV Inoculation Chamber, Fuming Chamber, UV -Spectrophotometer, Plethysmometer, etc balances to provide hands on experience to students.

Computer Lab: The institution has a separate computer laboratory with 60 systems, apart from the computers in the library. 

Library: A large resourceful library is an asset to the institution. It has 8206 volumes with 2234 titles. 

Hostel Facility: College provides hostel rooms with adequate facilities which makes students feel at home.
