Vijaya Healthcare Academic Society was established in 2001 under the umbrella of Vijaya Health Care and Sathya Sadhana Foundation. Thus the school of Nursing was established in the year 2001 to promote nursing education and to promote research in the field of nursing. The institution was initially offering Diploma in Nursing with an intake of 45 students per batch. But as years rolled on, its rays had spread to other latitudes in nursing education such
as BSc. (Nursing) with an intake of 50 students in the year 2006 , pc B.Sc (N) with an intake of 30 students in the year 2010. The college is affiliated to Dr. N.T.R University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and by the Andhra Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council.
