The Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 5-year ACGME-accredited residency providing comprehensive training in the medical, endovascular, and open surgical management of vascular diseases. Residents receive progressive training in aortic disease, aneurysms, carotid disease, peripheral arterial disease, vascular trauma, dialysis access, venous disease, and thoracic aortic conditions, with experience in open, endovascular, and hybrid procedures. The program also includes vascular imaging, noninvasive vascular laboratory training, multidisciplinary conferences, surgical simulation, research, and scholarly activities, preparing residents for independent practice in vascular surgery.
