The Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency Program at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a six-year program consisting of five clinical years and one research year. The first three years provide comprehensive general surgery training with weekly surgical simulation and progressive procedural education. During the senior years, residents receive advanced training in vascular surgery, including complex vascular and endovascular procedures, aortic surgery, limb preservation, vascular trauma, dialysis access, peripheral arterial disease, and venous disease. The program also includes weekly vascular teaching conferences, journal clubs, interactive didactics, simulation sessions, fresh tissue dissection, and extensive research opportunities.
