Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital (VMMC & SJH), New Delhi

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College was established at Safdarjung Hospital by the Government of India in November 2001. VMMC is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University; New Delhi. Over a decade the VMMC College has established itself as a prominent medical institution in India. Safdarjung Hospital is the largest hospital under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and is well known for its quality of services to all strata of society since pre-independence days. As on date, it has more than 1550 beds including bassinets.
