University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Chandigarh

The institute set up in the pre-independent India, at Lahore, in 1944 Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) approved B. Pharmacy (4 year) program and M. Pharmacy courses in 6 disciplines: Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance are offered at UIPS. The doctoral (Ph.D.) degree is offered in all emerging areas of pharmaceutical sciences. Currently, 227 B. Pharm., 140 M. Pharm., 50 Ph.D. are registered at UIPS. Affiliated by Institute of Panjab University, Chandigarh.
