Training for Orthoptist

Overview

• This training is designed for para–ophthalmic professionals with an objective to provide knowledge & develop practical skills and enhance clinical skills to support the ophthalmologist.
• The medium of course is English language.
• Accommodation & Food: Aravind international trainee’s hostel is a comfortable and quiet place located close to the LAICO and Aravind Eye Hospital campus.
• Course fee covers tuition fee and teaching materials.
• Course Duration & Intake: 6 months (First of January and July of every year)

Eligibility

• Candidates who have completed training in optometry or refraction and should have minimum 5 years of experience.
