Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana or VYASA is a registered charitable institution (1986) working for making Yoga as a socially relevant Science. UGC approved Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana, with its acronym S-VYASA as a Deemed to be University in 2002. SVYASA has adopted the concept of Yoga and its applications to meet the challenges of modern society based on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. SVYASA is the first full-fledged higher education Yoga institution in India and globally, offering UG and PG courses, including Ph.D. academic programs.
