St. Thomas College of Nursing is a unit of “The Educational Institutions of Archdiocese Changanacherry”. It is open, like all other Educational Institutions under Catholic auspices, to all persons irrespective of religion, caste or community. St. Thomas College of Nursing, Chethipuzha was recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHAS). The College of Nursing started functioning in September 2002, with 50 admissions to B.Sc. Nursing. The first in-take of students of M.Sc. Nursing (Medical & Surgical) joined on 1st October 2012.
