Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) is a quaternary care multi-specialty hospital. The medical Centre was founded as a teaching hospital of Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in 1985, with the intention of translating the experience and expertise in medical education into tangible and affordable health care to the community. The hospital facility with 800 beds and 200 Intensive care units, provides healthcare treatment for over 35,000 In-patients and 2,50,000 Out-patients every year.

Emergency Trauma Center: The department provides a comprehensive emergency service to all patients presenting to the department on a 24 x7 basis. The department accepts all patients for treatment and follows the Australasian Triage system (ATS). 

Central Laboratories: The Central Laboratory of Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre is situated in the 1st floor of Shri. Ramasamy Udayar Block. The fully air-conditioned laboratory is located in an area of about 6000 sq. feet and performs approximately 10,000 diagnostic tests per day.

Blood Bank: Blood grouping and typing, Blood cross matching, Coombs test (updated method using gel technology now routinely done for all blood cross matches), Coombs cross match, etc.

Pharmacy: Works Round the Pharmacy Clock. Pharmacy is run with as per national and international standards. (Joint commission international / National accreditation board for hospitals).
