Sri Kalabyraveshwara swamy Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital & Research Center(SKAMCH & RC) was established in the year 1996-97 to meet the increasing demand for Ayurveda education and to revive this ancient system of medicine. Sri Kalabyraveshwara swamy Ayurveda Hospital has been established through the inspired vision of His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Dr.Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji. Sri Kalabyraveshwara swamy Ayurveda talks of holistic health care system to make a disease-free society and nation which is well attributed through the establishment of this hospital.

Facilities:

Classroom: SKAMCH & RC has spacious, well ventilated classrooms with comfortable seating arrangements. Each class room is equipped with black board, white board, OHP & LCD.

Laboratories:  All the laboratories are equipped with mannequins, stimulators and necessary articles for procedure demonstration, models, specimens, charts. Laboratories are utilized for demonstrations and student practice of procedures under supervision.

Library: Library at SKAMCH & RC is a storehouse of knowledge, stocking more than 20000 books of current editions and Has internet facility, browsing, helinet connection with access to over 2000 medical journals.

Herbal Garden: The Institution has well maintained herb garden with more than 400 species of medicinal plants including rare species for practical demonstration to students in an area of 10 acres plot near Bangalore.

Hospital Facilities: The hospital, attached to college has bed strength of 350 beds. There are 12 OPDs in different branches of Ayurveda Viz., 4 in Kayachikitsa(General Medicine), 2 in Shalakya Tantra (Eye, ENT and Dentistry), one each in Shalya Tantra (Surgery), Prasuti Tantra (Obstetrics), Striroga (Gynaecology), Kaumarabhritya (Pediatrics), Atyyika Chikitsa (Emergency Medicine) and Swastha Vritta & Agada Tantra (Preventive Medicine & Toxicology) to provide specialty consultation to patients.

Hostel Facility: SKAMCH & RC hostel offers comfortable stay for students with all amenities during their course of study. The hostel is clean & comfortable and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study.
