About

Founded in the name of Srimad H H Sree Sudheendra Theertha Swamiji, Athmeeya Guru of Gowda Saraswath Brahmins, the Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission is a charitable society registered under the Charitable Society’s Registration Act 1955 in 1971. The society runs a 200-bedded charitable hospital under the patronage and guidance of Swamiji. The institution was established with donations from great philanthropists, among whom figure the late Padmashri Dr K N Pai – a prominent name in the physicians fraternity of Kerala and the founding inspiration behind the hospital. With over 15 departments and all modern facilities the mission functions under the steadfast motto of affordable and quality medical service and provides free as well as concessional medical care to the poor and needy. The mission has also obtained income tax exemption for donations under 80G of the Income Tax Act.
