Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital came into existence at Solan, in the year 2002 with the objective of providing comprehensive health care, medical education and thus attaining wellness of the people of Himachal Pradesh and adjoining states. The Solan Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The College is recognised by Central Council of Homoeopathy under Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi.

Facilities:

Library: The Institute has its own comprehensive library with over 3400 books exclusively for its students and faculty. These books serve as a rich source of knowledge and build a positive interest in studies.Library is equipped with multimedia computer and medical related CD ROMs.

Sports: A healthy mind resides in a healthy body " Keeping this proverb in view, various indoor and outdoor sports activities are organized by the college to keep all the young medicos in best state of their health and shape and to inculcate the team spirit in them.
