New York Medical College (NYMC), established in 1860 and located at 40 Sunshine Cottage Road, Valhalla, New York 10595, is one of the nation’s oldest private health-sciences universities. Today, NYMC comprises three graduate schools—its School of Medicine, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, and School of Health Sciences & Practice—with more than 1,500 students and over 2,000 faculty on a 54-acre campus. NYMC has a strong tradition of inclusion, being among the first U.S. medical colleges to admit women and minorities, and has maintained a wide network of clinical affiliations including its academic partner, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.
