Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Varanasi

The Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was established in 2011 by Dr. S. P. Yadav as “Shri Krishna Ayurvedic Chikitsalya & Shodh Sansthan” governed by “Gramin Evam Shahari Vikas Shiksha Samiti. The main objective of the Society is to promote the health awareness and care by Ayurvedic system of Medicine, because these are the ancient systems of medicine which are easily available & less side effect in comparison to the western system of medicine. The college imparts Bachelor Degree Courses in Ayurvedic Medicines (B.A.M.S.). The courses have already been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine, New Delhi (C.C.I.M) and affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth.

Facilities:

Labs & Library: All the Laboratories relating to their respective subjects namely Physiology, Pathology, Anatomy, Toxicology, Dravyaguna, Rasashastra etc. are well equipped. The library subscribes for a good number of medical journals, magazines and periodicals.

Hostel Facility: Well furnished hostel for boys “BOYS HOSTEL” with a capacity of 50 beds and a girls hostel “GIRLS HOSTEL” with a capacity of 50 beds are situated in the varanasi city with comfortable mess, Good standard of meals are given under the supervision of the teachers and students.

Gym & Games: A well equipped gymnasium for the performance of physical and yogic exercises are available within the campus.

Computer Center: Responding to the need of the time, a computer training center has been introduced under the instructions of University. All the students are required to acquire basic knowledge of working with computers in collaboration with a recognized agency.
