Shree Lakshmi Narayan Ayurvedic College, Amritsar was established by Late Shri Pujya Pt.Mayadhari Ji Shastri. This college is managed by Shree Durgiana Education Foundation, Amritsar since 1972. Initially, it was running the course (with syllabus) prescribed by Bharat Varsheeya Ayurved Vidyapeeth, Delhi. Thereafter, it got affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar in 1976 for B.A.M.S. course as prescribed by Central Council Of Indian Medicine, New Delhi. It is one of the oldest and esteemed institute in Ayurveda which has delivered many renowned ayurvedic physicians, surgeons, gynaecology and experts of various specialties.
