Short Term Fellowship in Pediatric Optometry

Overview

This six-month intensive fellowship immerses participants in pediatric optometry, binocular vision, and neuro-optometry. The schedule includes orientation in general OPD, clinical observation, and independent postings across multiple clinics. Fellows manage pediatric visual assessments, binocular vision anomalies, learning disabilities, and neuro‑optometric evaluations, often working alongside pediatric ophthalmologists. The program also incorporates teaching responsibilities, community screening, and requires submission of a publishable-quality paper (case report, review, or case series) under faculty guidance. Designed to equip optometrists with clinical expertise, research acumen, and communication skills tailored to pediatric eye care. 

Eligibility

B.Sc. in Optometry (≥ 1 year experience) or Diploma in Optometry/Refraction (≥ 2 years experience)

Selection based on academic credentials and personal or telephonic interview
