Shivalik Institute of Ayurveda & Research (SIAR), Dehradun

Shivalik Institute of Ayurved and Research Dehradun is the prime Institute of Ayurveda founded by visionary Ayurveda practitioners in the year of 2004. The Institute started its academic functioning by catering Ayurveda education in Pharmacy, Nursing and Panchakarma. Over the years; Shivalik Institute of Ayurveda and Research stood out as the unique brand in academic field providing government as well as private jobs to numerous students throughout Uttarakhand.

Facilities:

Library: The College has 14 Departments spread across 834 square meters in area. The details of each department are being mentioned under heading of Departments in Academic section. The central library of college is spread across 115 square meters with seating arrangement for 60 individuals and around 5687 books that includes Ayurveda as well as Modern Medicine books and Medical Journals. 

Herbal Garden: The Institute has a well conserved herbal garden spread across around 2532 square meters consisting of around 255 herbal species. It is rather considered as centre of attraction for the Institute with properly planted herbs along with the details of individual nomenclatures, botanical names, family, synonyms, indications etc.
