Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College (SNMMC) Recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in 1999. Shaheed Nirmal Mahto Medical College is a Medical school, considering the essential need of pharm and medical educations, The hospital at Saraidhela campus equipped with modern clinical departments specially surgery and orthopedics , ICU & emergency attendance facility to handle severe cases. The annual enrollment into M.B.B.S courses has been 50 since 1977 and was later increased to 100 from 2023 onwards under NMC rules and operation guidelines. The college facilities for paramedical training courses in different streams. Currently The hospital has medical facilities to welcome and assist about 1000 OPD patients per day who come from nearby adjoining districts and states. The SNMMC Dhanbad caters to large no of population of Jharkhand & daily OPD patients per day is about 2000.
