Application: Applications are invited twice a year.
Shortlisting: A committee of 3 SGEI Governing Council Members shortlists candidates based on the eligibility criteria and SGEI's predefined matching process.
Matching: The matching process considers the points scored by the candidate and the institute selected by the candidate.
Final Selection: The final selection is made by the SGEI Selection Committee.
Interview: Meetings/interviews may be conducted through Zoom.
Host Institute: The selected candidate works in the department of the allotted host institute as decided by the institute/head of department.
Completion: A post-completion report must be submitted by the candidate.
Timeline: The application and selection process is intended to be completed within one month.
