The Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF) was founded in 1984 with the primary objective of providing quality care and rehabilitation to those suffering from severe mental disorders. It is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, located in Chennai. It has also affiliated with World Health Organization (WHO), as collaborating Centre for Mental Health Research and Training.
