Homoeopathic Medical College was started in the year 1988 at Adalatwada a historical place in Satara. In the beginning of Homoeopathic course, Diploma in Homoeopathic medicine & surgery (D.H.M.S.) & later B.H.M.S. course was started & it was affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Now since 1998 B.H.M.S. course is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
