Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara was started in the year 1999 by our beloved Chairman, Prof. M. S. Jagtap. Satara College of Pharmacy exists to advance human health and quality of life by imparting value based updated pharmacy education and spiritualism so as to develop professionally competent and socially obliged pharmacists with highest nobility & self respect. Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara is affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Today the college is recognised as one of the centres of academic excellence in the country. Over the years, there has been dynamic progress at SCOP in all academic and research activities, and a parallel improvement in facilities and infrastructure, to keep it on par with the best college in the country.

Facilities:

Laboratories: It has well equipped with spacious 12 laboratories and separate research laboratory for M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) and 4 laboratories for D.Pharm.

Library: The college has well organized and well furnished library.

Auditorium: A separate well furnished auditorium is available for the students and staff. The seating capacity of the auditorium is 400 nos.

Hostel Facility: Luxurious hostel with mess facility is available for boys within the campus. Intake capacity - 45.

A separate Rector is present in the hostel.

Canteen: Cafeteria provides hygenically prepared food. Basic recreation and sports facilities (Gym, Table-Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Cricket, Volley-Ball, etc.).

Transportation Facility:  College provide the college bus facilities.

Animal House: An air-conditioned and well maintained Animal house is located at the terrace of the college. it is having six rooms out of which three rooms are reserved for keeping animals, one is used as a quarantine room one as a surgical room and the remaining one as a storeroom. a separate washing area is provided for washing the animals.
