The college is recognized by the Govt. of India Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and permanently affiliated to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya.

Facilities:

Labs: An integral part of teaching- labs provides students to explore and learn along with mastering the technique before undertaking patients in clinics.

Library: the central library boasts of more than 3500 books and equally high number of journals with back volumes, providing well illuminated separate reading sections for undergraduates, postgraduates and faculty.

Hostel Facility: SPPGIDMS, has the capacity to accommodate hundred students from each batch and post graduate students.

It has separate hostel for both boys and girls.

Computer Lab: Well-equipped computer section with Wi-Fi enabled departments and academic block to keep student abreast of internet publications and professional updates.

Auditorium: Fully air conditioned which centralised sound and screen projection. It has witnessed numerous continuing dental education programs, guest lectures, workshops and academic meets.

Sports: The institution has a cricket field, football ground, basket and volleyball court, along with the common rooms for both Boys and Girls equipped with all the indoor sporting facilities.

Cafeteria: Institution provides cafeteria facility and also has an on-campus cafe coffee day which often turns into a place for informal and vibrant academic discussions and also serves as an excellent opportunity for students with different background to socialize.

Bank Facility: College is equipped with an in-house banking facility for students, ensuring easy financial access on day to day basis.
