Established in the year 2007 under the Venkateswara Educational Society, the College has been a nurturing ground for Education, research, training for employment of professionals. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education- New Delhi, Pharmacy Council of India – New Delhi, CPCSEA – New Delhi, Government of Andhra Pradesh- Hyderabad and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur – Anantapur.

Lab Facilities: Saastra College of Pharmaceutical Education & Research is striving in the filed of pharmacy to come up as a centre of excellance by training students to be professionals of global standards in the pharmaceutical Sciences.

Seminar Hall: The College is having well furnished seminar hall and an activity room. Both are equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment like Slide and Film Projectors, OHP's, Video Projectors and Cameras, TV's, VCR's, LCD, built-in Audio Systems, pull down screens and public address systems with Cordless Microphones.

Internet Facility: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled . We teach and train students in accessing the internet to make use of Information available in the world and will be on their fingertips.

Hostel Facility: Beautifully landscaped Girls and Boys Hostel located in campus, provides a good and safe atmosphere for the girls. The Hostel residents have access to medical aid and counseling within the hostel premises besides in-house laundry facilities.
