S Salins College of Optometry, Golekhana, Bidar

S. Salins College of Optometry, Bidar was established in 2014–15 by Dr. Sybil Salins in memory of her mother, Dr. Mrs. Susheela Salins. Recognizing the lack of optometry education facilities in the northern region of Karnataka, particularly in Bidar district, Dr. Sybil Salins took the initiative to establish an institution dedicated to educating and training aspiring optometry professionals. The college is managed by the Velemegna Good News Society Hospital, Bidar, and offers the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Optometry program since its inception. The institution is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, and is committed to providing quality education, practical training, and professional development opportunities in the field of optometry.
