RKU School of Pharmacy (RKUSOP), Rajkot

School of Pharmacy is engaged in imparting education of Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate degrees in Pharmacy. The school is a part of campus of RK University. To develop a community of students and academicians who are a part of world class education system which is developed in a manner that supports the intellectual, professional and moral growth of students leading to advancement of human knowledge through enterprising research.

Facilities:

Classrooms: An audio-visually equipped classrooms for better learning environment.

Laboratories: We have fully equipped laboratories which provides controlled conditions for scientific research, experiments, and measurement.

Animal House: The animal house of our school spread over 235 square meters area is one of the largest and well planned animal houses among all pharmacy institutes in Gujarat state. It has been designed to confirm with the norms of GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) & CPCSEA (Committee for the Purpose of Control and Supervision on Experiments on Animals) and has well qualified / trained staff for breeding and for conducting experiments. The animal house area is supported with well equipped pharmacology labs.

Library: Total area of the library is 336.8 sq. mt. with seating capacity of 80 students. Library is well equipped with latest books, journals, magazines (technical and non-technical), besides regular text books.

Hostel Facility: The boy’s hostel has the capacity of about 500 boys whereas the girl’s hostel can house 300 girls. The types of rooms are cubicles and dormitories. Well furnished and spacious rooms available in each hostel. Each room is equipped with a bed, a study table, study chair, almirah and an easy chair. Separate mess facility is available for boys and girls which provide quality foods.
