Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences (PIDS), Gorakhpur

Purvanchal Institute of Dental Sciences, a premier professional Institute aims to impart quality and value based education in the field of dentistry. This is the first Institute of its kind in the Purvanchal region. The foundation stone of the institute was laid on 22 Jan 05 and the 1st batch of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) was started in the year 2006 and has now graduated. The Institute plans to start Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in the coming year. The Institute is progressing ahead and will emerge as one amongst the best in the country. The Institute is recognized by the Dental Council of India & it is  affiliated to DDU Gorakhpur University.

Facilities:

Lecture Hall: The Institute has four lecture halls as per the specifications of Dental Council of India. The lecture- halls are well furnished, spacious and equipped with all modern teaching aids.

Library: The college has a spacious library with a large collection of text books, national and international journals, magazines and C.D. section.

Hostel & Mess Facility: The College has separate in campus hostel for boys and girls. The hostel activities are managed by students committee under supervision of the Principal and the Wardens. The hostel messes are well furnished to serve fresh and sumptuous food to students.

Cafeteria: The college cafeteria is well established to take care of refreshment, tea & snacks etc for students, staff and patients visiting the clinics for their treatment.
