About
Public Health Centre is a community medical centre run by Public Health and Welfare Society , a voluntary social body. It was started in a hut in 1953. It was started by a Gandhian social worker Shri. M C Subrahmanyam along with a band of volunteers as a pioneering experiment of community involvement in medical services. It is a 150 bedded hospital. It is a non-profit organisation “bringing quality medical service at affordable cost to the public” remaining it’s governing motto.
