It was observed that there was a lack in the number as well as in the competency of trained professionals in various fields of allied medical sciences namely, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy and rehabilitation. It was also noticed that the youth, particularly from the rural and sub-urban background, had an immense pool of talent and potential and they needed to be engaged in job oriented courses, given an opportunity and the right guidance would help them realize their capabilities and make it possible for them to secure a place of their own in today’s world.
