Post Graduate Diploma in Diabetes Education

Any Graduate/ B.tech/ B.Sc. in Microbiology/ Life Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Food Science/ Food Technology/ BE/ B.Pharma/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BUMS/ BAMS or any other discipline. Diploma holders are eligible for our Executive Diploma, Industry Certificate, and Certificate Programmes.

Diabetes Education Course will help students to develop their skills to understand the impact of health behavior and lifestyle on acute and chronic problems of Diabetes and provide a comprehensive, cost effective and self-care management plan.

The objective of this programme is to enhance your knowledge on all aspects of diabetes management including epidemiology of diabetes, lifestyle (nutrition and exercise) , provide an understanding of the causes leading to diabetes ,diabetic complications on various organs of the body as well as adult education theory and chronic disease self-management principles that can enhance the education of all your patients with diabetes. Understand and tailor diabetes management and education provided to patients based on patient factors and their stage of life (for e.g.- Child, adolescent, adult)
