Overview

    This is an intensive program for graduates of Nutrition and Allied Sciences. This course also gives an opportunity to health and allied professionals to learn nutrition. This course is designed to provide exhaustive training in applications of foods & nutrition knowledge & skills in clinical, community and industrial settings. The practical approach and exposure helps the students to become integral part of the nutrition support team in hospitals & health care settings. The „Indian Dietetics Association‟ has recognized this program as one of the eligibility criteria for application of the Registered Dietitian (RD) exam. After completing The Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Nutrition students can work as Medical Nutrition Therapists/Nutrition Health Promotion professionals at Hospitals and Clinics, Nutrition consultants at Gyms and Health clubs, Sports Nutrition Consultants at Sports Clubs, Schools, Colleges, Freelance Nutrition Consultants and Entrepreneurs. It has an added advantage of adding one more year of education (12+ 3+1 i.e. 16yrs) required for enrolling for post graduate studies outside India.

Eligibility

    • B.Sc. / B.Sc. (F.C.Sc.) [(Home) / (Family & Community Sciences)] Programme with specialization / Honors in Foods & Nutrition such as Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science and Quality Control, Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc. Nutrition, Institutional Food service Management etc. 
    • B.Sc. in General Level Program of Home Science / Family and Community Sciences
    • Graduates / Post Graduate in M.B.B.S. / BDS / Allied Health Science graduates

    Online Admission through MSUB Portal.

    Note:

    - Thalassemia screening programme is compulsory for each admitted student of the Maharaja Sayajirao University. 
    - A discounted fees of Rs 150/- will be charged from the student towards the cost of sample testing at university Health Center/University Pavilion by “Red Cross Society”, India. 
    - Student has to produce Thalassemia screening certificate for obtaining the final eligibility.
    - Personal Aadhaar card number, Email-ID and Mobile number is must for registering the application for Admission in any of the programmes of The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
