Overview
The program in Neonatal Intensive Care is aimed to impart higher training in the management of critically ill children. The trainee will be posted at Departments of Neonatal/Paediatric Emergency Services, Paediatric and Neonatal ICUs, Medical ICU, and will have exposure to Paediatric Anesthesiology. At the end of one year the candidate will also be eligible to appear for the 'Certificate in Basic Paediatric Critical Care' examination offered by the Neonatology Critical Care Group, a joint body of Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) Neonatology Chapter. DCH can take this examination only at the end of two years.
