Overview

  • The Fellowship will allow the candidate to gain more experience in high risk anaesthesia and will involve predominantly surgical oncology,vascular,organ transplants,hepatobiliary,urology,head and neck,ENT and reconstructive plastic surgery,airway,high risk obstetrics,trauma and specialties,CTVS,neurosurgery,paediatric surgery and critical care. The exposure allows the fellow to acquire experience and expertise in preoperative evaluation,cardiac and pulmonary risk assessment and preoperative optimisation,advanced monitoring techniques,difficult airway management including videolaryngoscopy,awake fibreoptic and jet ventilation. They will be exposed to ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia in both basic and advanced blocks and different modalities of acute postoperative pain management techniques. Candidates will get opportunities to participate in the CMEs and workshops including advanced sonology workshops. They will also be encouraged to do research projects,and present at national meetings. They will be allowed to do one biostatistics and research methodology workshop during the Fellowship programme. Before the completion of the course there is an exit practical exam conducted by the University.

Eligibility

  • Applicants should have completed medical post graduation in Anesthesiology,MD/ DNB degree from a MCI recognized institute.

Admission Process:

  • Admission process includes Online Application Form,application fee payment online,supporting documents submission through email. Candidates who applied for Minority seat,need to submit recommendation forms from Minority Network Organisation. Selection process includes Two Steps. Step-1 is Computer Based Test (CBT),candidates who clears it will appear further. Step-2 will be special test and interview,after that final selection list will be announced. Selected candidates should accept the admission within a given deadline,complete admission registration process and course will start from 01st September.
