Overview

Programme outcome:

To assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. To make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital, community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of teacher, supervisor, manager in a clinical/public health setting.

Career Opportunities:-

The pass outs can work as registered nurse in Government private Hospitals, medical institutes, colleges, etc. The candidates have great demand in national as well as international health care sectors. Also they can pursue higher education in M.Sc nursing which enables them to seek teaching profession in Nursing.

Eligibility

The minimum educational requirement should be pass in in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
