Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) In Nursing

• The candidate seeking admission must hold a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. No experience is required after GNM.
• The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
• Other state students must have Karnataka Nursing Council registration certificate.
• Maximum age limit is 45 years.

Post Basic BSc degree in Nursing is a broad based education aimed at building upon the skills and competencies acquired at the diploma in nursing level. Make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights of the patient and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health. function in the hospital and community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. They are also expected to assume the role of a teacher, supervisor, and manager in clinical/public health settings. The programme is intended to enable the graduates assume responsibilities as professional and competent nurse and midwife at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
