Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) In Nursing

Overview

A Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (P.B.B.Sc Nursing) program is designed for registered nurses (RNs) who have already completed a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or a similar nursing program. This program allows RNs to further their education and obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing. 

The duration of the P.B.B.Sc Nursing program typically is 3 year.

The P.B.B.Sc Nursing program builds upon the foundational nursing knowledge and skills acquired during the GNM or equivalent diploma program. It includes advanced nursing concepts, clinical skills, and theory-based courses. Some common subjects and areas of study in a P.B.B.Sc Nursing program may include:

Eligibility

• Candidates must be registered nurses (RNs) with a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or an equivalent nursing diploma recognized by the respective nursing council.
• Candidates must meet the medical fitness standards set by the respective institution and have a medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
