Overview
Post Basic B.Sc. degree in Nursing is a 2 years graduate program in nursing after completion of GNM. Its a continuing education aimed to build upon the skills and competencies acquired at the diploma in nursing level. It is specifically directed to the upgrading of critical thinking skills, competencies and standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery as envisaged in National Health Policy.
On completion of Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree course from Florence School & College of Nursing, the graduates will be able to assess health status, identify nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients / clients that contribute to health of individuals, families and communities.

Eligibility
- The minimum age requirement for P.B. B.Sc. Nursing admission is 21 years.
- Candidates must have attained this age before or on 31st December of the year to which admission is being sought.
- The aspirants must have passed the Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary/ Intermediate/ equivalent Examination from a recognized board.
- Candidates who have completed Metric on or before 1986 will be considered eligible for application.
- Applicants must be registered with any state nurse registration council as RN or RM or must have obtained a certificate in General Nursing & Midwifery.
- The candidate should be medically fit.
