Post Basic Bachelor of Science (BSc) In Nursing

Applicant should have passed GNM with Minimum 50% from Registered council. The candidate should be medically fit.

Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing helps to demonstrate critical thinking skills while making decisions in all situations at any setting. It also teaches to practice nursing within the framework of code of ethics and professional standard of conduct. Students pursuing this programme are expected to communicate effectively with health team members and communities.

Programme Outcomes:

• This programme helps the graduate to be charged with the responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing comprehensive among care in promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
• Prepare competent nurses to function in the hospital, community nursing services both government & private health sectors.
• Prepare nurses to assume the role of teacher, clinical supervisor manager in a clinical / public health setting and an administrator.
• Prepare the graduate for higher studies for their career growth.
