Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a two-year undergraduate programme designed to inculcate an in-depth understanding of advanced level nursing. Under this programme, students acquire both surgical and non-surgical nursing skills that prepare them for varied real-world clinical and hospital settings. The programme prepares students to take independent decisions in nursing situations and play a major role in treating patients with care and compassion. The programme transmutes students to industry-trained professionals with a strong understanding of the philosophy objectives and responsibilities of nursing as a profession.

Eligibility
- Be a registered nurse (Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife ) or equivalent.
- Candidate should have completed GNM Nursing programme successfully.
- Married candidates can seek admission to the course provided they are medically fit.
- Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course.
- Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination from Boards apart from Govt. of Tamil Nadu shall obtain an Eligibility Certificate, from Chettinad Academy of Research and Education and produce the same at the time of admission and also remit recognition fee as prescribed.
