Overview

The Ph.D. in Physics at VHNSNC is a three-year, full-time doctoral program designed for rigorous research in advanced physics. As a recognized research center, the Physics department has supervised multiple recent full-time Ph.D. projects—such as the synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials for electronics, eco-friendly dye-sensitized solar cells, and thin films for sensor applications. The college provides well-equipped labs and staff mentorship, enabling scholars to contribute significantly to academic, industrial, or R&D sectors. 

Eligibility

M.Sc. in Physics or allied discipline (Pass required).

Admission is primarily merit-based, likely involving academic record assessment, research proposal, and possibly an interview, as per university-autonomy guidelines.
