Department of Pharmaceutics (Ph.D. Research Centre) we are well equipped with State of the art research facilities to conduct research on oral solid dosage forms (tablets and powders), Liquid orals (Multiparticulate drug delivery liposomes and nano-emulsions), sterile dosage forms (opthalmics and parentrals) etc as per cGMP guidelines.
The department of Pharmaceutics aimed to produce a competent pharmacist to meet the challenges of the industry in the areas of drug development, formulation and development, production activities, validation, drug regulatory affairs etc. The department provides an intellectual input to both in house and externally funded R & D projects. This department has collaboration with pharmaceutical industries for innovation and deep understanding of recent research concepts. Most of the passed out students of department are working for leading pharmaceutical industries. The Department has attracted funding from various governmental and non governmental organizations like AICTE, UGC, ICMR, DST etc.

Eligibility
Candidates with M.Pharm degree awarded by this University or a recognized College/University recognized by AICTE/PCI/RGUHS or a P.G. Degree in Pharmacy considered as equivalent by RGUHS are eligible for enrollment for Ph.D. course in Pharmacy of this University.
