PhD in Pharmaceutical Science

• An applicant belonging to the admission categories should possess a Master degree in Pharmacy after graduation, in respective discipline or equivalent with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.75 on a 10 point scale or equivalent to first-class as determined by the university wherever letter grades are awarded; or 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters)where marks are awarded to be eligible to apply for admission for the PhD programme of the Institute.

• The merit for admission will be determined as:

1) Marks obtained in entrance test (Max 50)

2) 10 marks for graduntion (weightage as per actual percentage).

3) JRF/Equivalent exam: 50 Marks or test marks (Full).

4) UGC/CSIR NET: 50 Marks of Test or highest marks scored in

• Test whichever is less.
  5) 20 marks for post-graduation (weightage as per actual percentage).

6) 10 marks for research publications ( 4 for international, 02 for national, Max 10 marks).

Admission wiil be made as per combined merit from all above components.
