- Must clear CRET (Combined Research Entrance Test) conducted by AU (Level-1 and Level-2)
- Candidates with valid UGC-NET/JRF, CSIR-NET, or GATE may gain exemption from Level‑1 but must appear in Level‑2
- No third division in UG or PG careers
