PhD in Botany

Master Degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum of 55% score.

Ph.D is typically a three year course and after the research plan is approved by the guide/committee takes minimum 3 years. The aspirant has to choose a topic of his/her choice and work under a chosen guide(generally chosen by the student). The student is expected to complete one semester of course work and undertake research in the subsequent semesters. The student is also expected to publish his research work in various indexed journals of repute(as per the guidelines of UGC).
