Eligibility

  • Must possess an MD (Ayurveda) or MS (Ayurveda) degree recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
  • The postgraduate qualification must be in the concerned Ayurveda specialty in which the candidate seeks admission.
  • Must satisfy the RGUHS PhD admission regulations, including qualifying the PhD Entrance Test (PET) or being eligible for exemption as per university rules.
  • Must meet the minimum qualifying marks and other eligibility requirements prescribed by RGUHS/UGC.
  • Selection is subject to the availability of an approved research guide/supervisor and research seats in the chosen department.

Admission Process:

  1. Check the PhD admission notification issued by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS).

  4. Attend the interview/viva-voce conducted by the doctoral committee.
  5. Selection is based on entrance test performance (where applicable), interview, academic merit, availability of an approved research guide, and research seats.
