PG in MD, MS (Ayurveda) Stree Roga and Prasuti

The MD/MS (Ayurveda) in Stree Roga and Prasuti at Dr. Nori Rama Sastry (NRS) Government Ayurvedic College, Vijayawada is a postgraduate program focused on women’s health through the principles of Ayurveda. The course provides in-depth knowledge of gynecology and obstetrics, including menstrual disorders, infertility, antenatal and postnatal care, and management of normal and complicated deliveries using Ayurvedic approaches. Students receive both theoretical training and extensive clinical exposure in hospital settings, enabling them to diagnose and treat female reproductive health conditions holistically. The program also emphasizes classical Ayurvedic texts, modern diagnostic techniques, research methodology, and patient care, preparing graduates for clinical practice, teaching, and research in the field of Ayurvedic gynecology and obstetrics.

• The candidate must have completed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine & Surgery) from a recognized university.
• Must have completed a 1-year compulsory internship before admission.
• Should be registered with the State/Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM/NCISM).
• Must qualify for AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test).
• Admission is done through central/state counseling (AACCC or state quota).
• Candidates must meet minimum qualifying percentile as per category (General/OBC/SC/ST).
